Heilpraktiker and physiotherapist in Dillingen, Saarland

My practice is in Dillingen, Saarland, about 30 kilometres from the French border and 50 from Luxembourg. Patients from both countries come to see me regularly.

What is a “Heilpraktiker”?

The Heilpraktiker is a German healthcare profession with no direct equivalent elsewhere. It is an official licence to practise medicine, granted by the public health authority after an examination. I received mine in 2000 from the health office in Saarbrücken.

I am not a doctor and I do not replace yours. I have also been a state-certified physiotherapist since 1994.

What I offer

• Osteopathy, including paediatric osteopathy for babies and children
• Chiropractic, including work on the atlas vertebra
• Craniosacral therapy
• Physiotherapy, also for athletes
• Bobath therapy for neurological conditions

Which language?

My working language is German. I speak English well – better than French – so we will understand each other without difficulty.

Fees and appointments

A session lasts 45 to 90 minutes, usually an hour, and costs between 80 and 120 euros depending on its length and what is required. I tell you the amount before the first session.

Mine is a private practice. Foreign health insurers generally do not cover these treatments; please check with your insurer before you come.
