Health advice

Health advice is part of every treatment with me. It can also be arranged on its own, though – as an appointment in its own right, without my treating you.

Advice during treatment

In the case history I ask not only about the complaints, but also about work, sport and everyday life. Much of what burdens the body comes from there – and can be changed from there too.

That is why a treatment with me rarely ends with the treatment. You take away what you can do yourself: specific exercises for home, advice on posture at work, sometimes a word about diet.

Advice as an appointment of its own

Some people come for the advice itself. Because they want to change something and do not know where to begin. Because they have been carrying the same complaints around for years and suspect that it has to do with the way they live. Or because they are missing someone who will listen calmly to how their day actually goes.

Here too it begins with a detailed case history. Only afterwards do we talk about what can sensibly be changed in your case – and in such a way that it fits into your daily life. My measure: to change a lot with little effort, not the other way round.

What we talk about

  • Movement – what is missing, what is too much, what suits you
  • Posture in everyday life – at the desk, when lifting, when sleeping
  • Diet – as guidance, not as a diet plan
  • Relaxation, sleep and dealing with tension

What the advice is not

I am a Heilpraktiker – a German health profession, licensed by the state to practise healing –, not a physician and not a dietitian. Where an illness belongs in medical hands, health advice does not replace that treatment – it can complement it. What makes sense in your case I discuss openly with you.

Appointments and fees

A consultation lasts 45 to 60 minutes and costs 80 euros. Further answers under frequently asked questions.

The points named here are examples of application. They are in no way a promise of cure, and treatment is not indicated in every case.
